• About Richard Maize

    Richard “Rich” Maize supports a wide range of local and international causes, with an emphasis on health care initiatives and youth mentorship, via the Rochelle & Richard Maize Foundation that he cofounded with his wife. The foundation has provided support to charitable organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Los Angeles Police Foundation, and Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services. Moreover, Richard Maize serves on the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors and the boards of other organizations.

    Alongside his philanthropic work, Rich Maize involves himself in a diverse range of business endeavors in the Beverly Hills area that range from investing in a food truck to serving as a partner with an online PR firm. His past entrepreneurial activities include the establishment of a mortgage bank that became one of the nation’s leading entities in that field and earned him the Mortgage Originators Top 10 National Producers Award.

    An alumnus of California State University, Northridge, he also spent a number of years in the real estate industry. He purchased and managed nearly 1,000 apartment units by the time he turned 28.
